Just like buses...

There was really no traffic on the river for hours on end today and then, just like buses, vessels started coming in groups. A tug went downriver then back up, literally, for it was in reverse. In the distance I could see the "Sir John Murray" preparing to return to port and then these two craft passed each other.

The smaller boat appeared to be some kind of fishing boat with empty creels on the back while it is possible the tug was heading downriver to help a large cargo ship which had discharged its load at the container port.

Tomorrow will be the last in this series of maritime blips so let's see what tomorrow brings!!
