Lost in Thought

Screwfix and a Dentist

Thankfully the dentist was not using anything sold in Screwfix!

Gill has had a tooth bothering her for several months and as an infection would not be good news for her valve surgery the tooth had to go.
Curved and deep roots meant a referral to a dental surgeon so while he extracted the tooth, I went to Screwfix to buy a Christmas jumper.
Surgery done with sedation so any sympathy from me would not have been noticed!

Back to the dentist late afternoon as the socket needed a stitch to halt the bleeding. She was given a supply of pressure pads just in case it didn't get the message.  Thankfully it did and after an uncomfortable evening she is much more herself this morning.

Very thankful we have a good NHS dentist who arranged the referral as he does not have the facilities for curved root work.

I remain uncomfortable at the requirement for acrylic Christmas jumpers but this one comes with a face saving donation to charity, and, I found the much larger parking area around the back of Screwfix in Leamington with the 'tradesman's' entrance, where the customers turn up with a list and don't dither .  :-)

Binge watching Seaside Hotel (Badehotellet)   on All4 Walter Presents subtitled from the original Danish as a distraction.
