Better in Red

Last night, for the Fado Night, I wore this navy dress, with a red jacket that Jan gave me. It's an annoying dress, though - too wide at the armholes, and the facings flap out, so today I took it in at the sides, and stiched all the facings down - in red. Much more better.
(Here, an old, but lovely article about the value of mending. Not that I was mending exactly, but I did forget about stressful stuff while I was stitching.)


Gratefuls:
- feeling like I accomplished something today
- picking a thousand cherry tomatoes and turning them into passata
- Mike finishing plastering the ceiling of the North Wing and beginning on the walls
