Stealing Miss Nightingale's Dress...

Charlotte got a text today from our good friends Matt and Toby. For the past 10 years (almost) Matt (or Mr Bug Presents) has been writing a musical. This opened the other month and is currently touring the UK. We have tickets to the Sheffield Lyceum show in a few weeks and I really cannot wait...

Miss Nightingale is a Burlesque musical set in the 40's and stars the wonderful Amber Topaz (a gorgeous artiste I have had the pleasure to have drawn) in the lead role.

Anyway the text was because Matt's Sewing machine (not only does he compose and write and direct but also makes all the costumes it seems) had given up the ghost and he desperately needed to borrow Charlottes before rushing off to Salford for tomorrow's performance!. I turned up to their house to the sight of Charlotte dressed in a half finished (but BEAUTIFUL) silken gown... It seems that with no mannequin to use Charlotte stood in for the Leading lady (or more likely just wanted to dress up).

I really cant wait to see the show. It strikes me also that I really must take some shots of Matt and Toby too. (where you can see their faces rather than here in the blur) as they are the most lovely couple.
