Return to the building which houses both my former workplace and my favourite cinema. We were watching “Two Tickets to Greece” which I had dissed at ever screening we’d seen this year, but which lured us in wit, you guessed it, the chance to win two tickets to Greece.

Probably won’t win but the film was very enjoyable, funny and touching. For some reason I’ve seen a lot of French films this year. Really loved “One Fine Morning”, which we saw earlier in the year.

This grand staircase is quite striking. The building won architectural awards, although our offices were not inspiring, and an apartment we looked at with an interest in purchasing was the dingiest most oppressive place we’d ever seen. Bedrooms with no windows and looking into an internal courtyard that gave off a prison vibe. Lake glimpses only, and super expensive.
