Dining by Candlelight

Last night, just as we had started to serve up our dinner - the lights went out.......  It's surprising what you can't do when in total darkness.  Eventually the torches were retrieved, candles lit and the wine poured.  The meal was rather odd - as we are completely electric in the kitchen the 'accompanyments' weren't quite finished, but the main course was a casserole keeping hot in the oven.  We have gas central heating, but of course no power for the water pump and the power wasn't restored until 1.45 am.....
Technically, as this Blip was taken yesterday, it's on the wrong day - but as the problem extended over two days, I have taken the liberty of posting it as today's Blip :-)
