Gateway to life

I was so impressed by the home this moss has made on an iron gate.

For the technical, I just turned the saturation down a bit in the simple Google Photos and like the effect of monochrome with a hint of colour.

Ironically, my grandmother worked in a photographer's about 100 years ago, and her job was hand-tinting the monochrome portraits with dyes. Although I never saw her do anything artistic, there's still a trace of interest in the blood :-)
