Geneva II

This photo was taken only few minutes after yesterday's one, but because it was after midnight counts as today's. I have photographed cobblestones on Place du Molard, where they have recently installed ( I don't know he better word ) boxed shape lights within cobblestones making sort of starlight effect. Geneva is wealthy city and you se that on every step. Even under ones feet.
You see three type of people in well heeled centre of Geneva. One are impeccably dressed (both men and women) second or third "generation Hermes /Chanel " locals mostly older people who are private bankers, lawyers, fiduciaries, jewellery/watch merchants, basically anyone who cater wealthy foreigners who either reside their money or themselves in Geneva. Second are wealthy foreigners themselves ( first "generation Hermes/Chanel") these days Russians mostly, earlier they were of Middle East origin, tomorrow will be Chinese or people from black Africa. Wealth they parade is newly minted and very showy (Sfr 100,000 plus watches, Lamborghini's) . Third group are middle aged foreigners mostly English or American who are in between first two groups, they are neither locals with money and taste or ultra rich like their (most likely) employers. They seem and look well off but look displaced in a way. They don't belong (and will never be accepted) in Geneva and they are most probably to remote to wherever they came from.
My GAS remain unfulfilled. I went to photo shop in the morning determined to buy APO 50mm but it was gone. Not to someone who was in waiting list or to some long standing customer but someone like me who just was passing buy. At least my bank balance is unscathed.
We met V in his office which is above famous French boutique. Top floor where is the office of his ( forever ) absent boss has terrace with view on the lake. On day like this there is nothing better to sit and enjoy the view.
