Coltsfoot rust gall

Despite getting lots of other photos today, I was struck by these colourful galls on the leaves of Coltsfoot, Tussilago farfara. They are formed by an infection of the rust Puccinia poarum, which has a complex life-cycle involving the infection of grasses as well. I must find out more about it.
