Lower Shotover River pool …..

….. ….. ….. with the Remarkable Mountains on the skyline.
Missy & I walked up the Shotover River banks from the Old Shotover Bridge. We hadn’t been up there for a while and I admired the ‘fields’ of low-growing bright yellow plants - Extras - It’s called Stonecrop. Sedum acre, or stonecrop as it is commonly known, is an introduced succulent, native to Europe. It was introduced in 1904 and is completely at home in this part of NZ.
