Our third attempt

Had a hospital appointment today for my long awaited SCS (spinal cord stimulator) consultation at York. Awoke to Facebook feeds full of dire reports of the traffic trying to get to York. The resent weather had left two of the crossing of the Derwent impassable, and traffic lights on the main crossing was leaving traffic tailed back to within 1 mile of our house ( we live 7 miles from that crossing) We set off early for the fourth available crossing place . Pictured above the view was same both sides of the road as we waited to cross the single lane bridge. Made it with a few minutes to spare. A very impressive session with pain team. The trip home was pretty uneventful (the random lights having removed) no idea what they up for nothing visible!
Par for the course around here with closures and lights popping up to the point residence believe we are under siege!  ;-)
