Cat in a Hat

Raven put up with me and immediately forgave me today for this bit of foolishness. The tree is still intact, the old quilt we use as a tree skirt was a bit askew this morning and an ornament saying Merry was on the floor. We think Raven and Fianna were racing around the tree and the things out of place were done during the scampering. As my kindergarteners used to say, it was not done.. BY PURPOSE.


For the Record,
This day came in with the tail end of the rain and windstorm from the night before. We had a really disrupted sleep, after 2 in the morning an electrical wire along the street across from the house was arcing and burning so brightly. Soon the police cars arrived with flashing blue lights and then the light company with their yellow lights. We finally got back to sleep after 4. Luckily, T could work from home , (it's her birthday too) and she had an easier day not having to face the commute to Boston.
