Cameron's edited life

Mr Rock and Roll...

He's not known as 'The Boss' for nothing; Springsteen came, he performed, he conquered Glasgow. For three and a half hours the music came thick and fast - pure rock and roll from the most sublime performer on the planet. The backing he got from his E Street Band was slick, professional and just totally amazing.

From the opening 'We take care of our own,' to the acoustic finale, a sing-a-long version of 'Thunder Road' - the huge Scottish audience paid due homage to the Messiah of rock. At one point he reminded us that he was: "sixty, fucking, three" - and that reminder was required as he leaps about like a teenager.

Thank you Bruce, it was an honour and a privilege.
