Neighborhood Great Egret

We see this large, beautiful bird quite often on our walks around the neighborhood. This morning she was posed on the roof of a car parked in a neighbor's driveway. Luckily, for me anyhow, I had my camera and a longish lens with me ('cause you never know!). 
And a Happy 50th Anniversary to C... my lover, my teacher, my compass, my friend. ❤️
