Floating By

I was busy photographing ice when I looked up to find a merganser floating by. Must be an advance party as he was on his own. I hope a few more will show up in the coming weeks. Wonderful to get a shot in good light for a change. Almost too much contrast. Nearly 50 degrees today, it's very up and down this year.
