Brackets and pores

It's amazing what you notice through a macro photograph. The whole world becomes magical and new.

It has been a busy day today, trying to get everything done. After a slow start finishing a book I managed a very productive morning. Went for a walk and discovered an unexpected Christmas concert near the shops, complete with brass band and all the favourite carols.

This afternoon has mostly been spent chopping dried rosemary to go into the herb jar, and doing some surprisingly unstressful packing.
