The death of the lights.

When we put away the Christmas tree lights a year or so ago, they were working perfectly, as they had for the last 10 years. When we put them back on the tree today, they were working not at all! What on earth did they die of whilst hibernating snuggly in their box? Luckily, new ones are to be had online and will be delivered on Monday.
