Pre-fab(ulous)

So, after the bland-looking building site yesterday that was part of our playground, this is the new building today. It arrived in pre-fab sections, was hoisted into place by a crane, and had been put together by the end of the day.

At playtime we saw the crane lifting one of the sections into place, much excitement! No sooner had it got one section in place, the lorries brought the next bit in ready for the crane to lift. There were apparently 12 sections in all.

Took the class down to see what was going on, and have a look at the crane ... from behind the fence. They loved it!

Had a peek inside the new building from the window at the end of the existing building ... looks very spacious, but maybe that's because there's nothing in it yet ...
