Curious?? Hedgehog giving birth??

I'm in doubt... We have a hedgehogshelter in our garden for the wintertime.
I'm not sure if it has been used but this evening Joy ran towards it as if he had seen something move in the vicinity of it.
So I took ity away from under the bush and opened the lid.
My first thought: a dead hedgehog.
So I planned to move it to the recycle bin.
But: A moment later: It breathed!!
So: I googled a bit and it's possible that she's there to give birth??

I'll wait and see...closed the lid and put the shelter back in it's place.
