I was taking photographs at the third of three Christmas parties on Saturday at Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS), Robin House. Over the last three Saturdays I have had lots of practice taking portraits which I don't normally do. I have also learned heaps about indoor photography with limited light and various camera settings to get the photos as good as I possibly can.

I was determined to get better over the three weeks and these photos could be very important to some of the families, hence I really wanted them to be as good as possible.

Nice wee afternoon and nice to be chatting with families and kids too. Much more poignant than other Christmas parties but hey ho #keepthejoyalive
