A delightful surprise

I was very surprised to see this vibrant Canna Endeavour Lily in my backyard this morning. I am use to the leaves pushing their way under the fence from next door (which I have cut) but this one seems to have sprouted from my side of the fence. Only yesterday I was communicating about lilies so it was amazing to discover this delight this morning. 

The rest of today has been warm but bearable. My once a fortnight cleaner came this morning and it always feels great after she has finished. I keep a clean and tidy house but it just has a different feel when the cleaner has done her work. I think it is the smell of the mopping which I don’t do.
