Anniversary Meal

We made a trip up to Glasgow today. It's about 250 miles there and back. We go mainly for breakfast supplies; Stornoway Black Pudding and Lorne or, "square", sausage as its known. When our guests aren't eating omelettes and scrambled eggs, they're becoming increasingly fond of a good old fashioned Full Scottish breakfast. By the time we returned home there wasn't much time for cooking dinner so we had another particularly Glaswegian delicacy, known colloquially as a, "doubler". My choice of heart attack fodder was a slice of square sausage with a fried egg on a Morton's roll. Linda's choice was potato scone and fried egg; she is a veggie after all. As we sat down at the table, we had to pick up a pile of envelopes that were spread around the table. We hadn't had time to open them before we shot out the door this morning. We opened up the first envelope and realised that it was our anniversary and these were cards. What an anniversary meal!
