Arctic starflower

I noticed that a couple of these little starflowers had 7 petals whereas most had 6. This arctic starflower is quite rare but there were several growing in some pinewoods in the Cairngorms. It is also called chickweed wintergreen (trientalis europaea) but is a member of the primula family.

After the frustration of being unable to access the internet or even getting a mobile phone signal for much of our holiday, my computer is broken so I will only manage to upload phone photos rather then camera photos when I do my back blips.
