Scaling the heights

We finally made it to the Wallace Monument just outside Stirling. We've driven past so very many times, eyes on the road and the long journey ahead, but having to leave a day early has meant we've had time to visit!  Daft that we've not been before, really. Interesting to put William Wallace in context and a joy to see women honoured (recently) in the Monument where only men reigned supreme previously. 

Berry has enjoyed her usual Faskally walk at Pitlochry plus a lovely bounce around the Wallace Monument. Otherwise, it's been a day in the car for her - and us.
