Puffer corner

In my 'gallery' of ships this wee group pays homage to the "Puffer" the coastal cargo boats which delivered coal and other essentials mainly to the islands and peninsulas of western Scotland. The fictional puffer "Vital Spark" was made famous in the many stories of Neil Munro and his colourful character Para Handy, captain of the Vital Spark.
