Not so secret Santa

It was secret Santa day at work today and so we had a visit from the big man, or at least one of his look-a-like helpers. He even went for a wander around the lab to help out! There were certainly some interestingly shaped presents ready to be dished out.

Unfortunately I had to head off early because Owen's still not right. Louisa took him to the GP who advised a trip to the Children's Assessment to have this persistent cough assessed. We got there at about 4 o'clock, got triaged and saw the first doctor by half past 7, then were waiting 2 and a half hours for blood samples to be taken before I complained, then we were still there at midnight.....
