Midwinter’s Eve

For the last three years I’ve read this mysterious and enchanting book, starting tonight, Midwinter’s Eve, and ending 12 nights later on New Year’s Eve.
If you haven’t read it yet I highly recommend doing so next year. It’s a tale of time travel, magic, an epic battle between light and dark, nature, folklore and myth, and growing up.
Although it was written for children, there is plenty for adult readers too - I'm far from alone in loving the ritual of reading it at Christmas.
