Storm Pia

We awoke this morning to a power cut thanks to Storm Pia.  The North West Electricity website said we should be resorted by 18:00. R rushed off to Costa Coffee to manage a conference call for his work colleagues while  Mr P and I went out in search of breakfast and shopping. This is the old church of St Martin in Bowness that dates back to the 1400s .  I stopped to examine the Grade 2 listed grave of an Abyssinian slave boy  but I need to come back with extra lighting to do the grave justice. Today a Blip of the outside of the church will have to do.  By lunchtime power had been restored. Thank you NW Electricity.
