Nacreous Cloud

Part of Thursday morning's display of nacreous (or 'mother-of-pearl') clouds.  Two more are in the 'extras'.

They were also visible at sunset but they had faded and become partially obscured by ordinary clouds by the time I got to a suitable viewing point, so none included here.

Judging by blips posted today, they were visible over all of Scotland and most of England where gaps in lower cloud permitted.
