Before the stampede

07:15 at Lincoln Sainsbury's this morning. Not too busy when I arrived for it to open at 07:00, but absolutely chaotic when I left an hour or so later... The carpark had a queue of cars looking for spaces, with people arguing over them - chaos had broken out. The funniest part was a woman with a huge shopping list (and a bedraggled husband with 2 shopping trolleys in tow) shouting, 'Where is the roasted garlic? I simple must have some for Christmas Lunch!'...
