Little Egret Mighty Oak

I saw a flicker of white in the gloom on our lunchtime walk. Turns out it was a little egret and it landed on one of the oaks by the brook. It has a ring above each knee. One of them reads 'A'. It also has one at the ankle.

Nice to see my old friend Jack heron through the hedge perched by our neighbour's lake. (Extras)
