Winter Solstice

Today marks the Winter Solstice according toThe Royal Observatory, Greenwhich, the shortest day and the longest night.  Here it was grey and miserable so there was little to do except hunker down and watch Christmas films on TV.  
I managed to take a photo of this Christmas ornament  from our nature themed tree and will mark it for Flower Friday as it does have some Christmas roses (hellebores) on it!
