Nature Diary Midwinter Loveliness

Braving the icy cold weather, the pelting rain, and the gale-force winds, all of which have raged along the coastline throughout the winter months, this plucky little plant has continued to produce not just buds, but buds which have bravely opened to produce beautiful flowers.  Wonderful!
