Christmas Travellers

It's been a full-on day - starting from Wetherby where we spent last night en route to the Lincoln area for today's lunchtime party to celebrate my Editor's cousin's golden wedding. It was lovely to see several family members whom we'd not seen for several years. Then this evening we drove all the way back home. We'd been a bit concerned that the traffic would be bad, with lots of pre-Christmas travellers, but in spite of the number of cars you see in the carpark in the photo (taken from last night's hotel window) there weren't any holdups. As you can see the sky was a bit threatening and we did have some rain and wind, but not enough to cause any problems.

We're planning a quieter day tomorrow before "The Big Day" on Monday.
