Misty vista

This was taken through the upstairs office window - a bit of a contrast from yesterday's hot, sunny and humid weather! Still cool and misty at 3pm - extremely unusual, in fact almost unknown. Usually any mist clears before noon here. There's also been some heavy drizzly rain.

My back is massively better today - still feels a bit stiff at times, so I'm using the electric heated pad on it. I'm going back to the osteopath on Monday - she had said I could go this afternoon, but to cancel if it had got better so I did.

The carpet is still drying out - particularly at the lounge end of the room. Stuart's going to move the settee and chairs when we go to bed tonight so that it can dry properly underneath them. We have nowhere to move them to other than within the room - which is why we have to leave it until bed-time. It looks really clean now, but obviously nothing can be done about the tread wear. Some of the hall carpet is a little bit worn away in places, but it looks a lot better than it did. So pretty pleased over all! :-)
