Entrañas, the very innards of it all

Lunch today with Eu, my lovely Argentine friend, and a lovely set of entrañas.

For any who haven't tried, entrañas are a staple of the famous Argentine asados (BBQs) and are the very entrails of a cow.

It may not sound appetising to some, but I love them. Cooked well (quite a lot), ideally on a BBQ, they are one of the tastiest cuts around, and very cheap too.

It's 28 degrees and sunny today in Barcelona, so all this - entrañas, parsley and garlic sauce, bread and Meditteranean salad, on a terrace above the gothic quarter - was washed down with some ice cold beer.

Coffee and ice cream for pudding. Still stuffed. Lovely. Thanks Eu :)
