Upside down

It was chilly but sunny when I was out earlier on, the water was calm as it was high tide and there was very little breeze.  I was listening to the river and it occurred to me that we can walk about in peace here but in other parts of the world life is just full of horror.  As an individual I don't know what to do about that, other than don't take peace for granted.
