Lovebirds

A pair of Jackdaws on a roof in Aberfoyle this morning looking lovingly into each other’s eyes! The one on the left has a lot of leucistic feathers, white instead of black.
It was a lovely bright morning with no rain for the first time in days so we headed up to Aberfoyle to go and see the red squirrels in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Unfortunately, having parked down in the village and walked up into the park we found that the bridge over the river was closed for repairs and there was no way to get across to the hide, so no red squirrels. We did have a lovely walk through the forest though in beautiful dappled sunlight (extra 1).
Extra 2 - the moon was very big and bright this afternoon, this was taken from our bedroom window at 15:25 looking out towards the Campsies.
