Boxing Day walk.

A morning walk along the sea front in very benign conditions, dry, mild and calm. The main rail line from Paddington to Penzance runs right alongside and was famously destroyed by a storm 9 years ago. Although the rail line was restored within a few weeks comprehensive works to strengthen and raise  the sea defences have continued to date. The red cliffs are ancient sandstone laid down in strata probably 300 million years ago.
Behind with commenting etc, and will hopefully catch up soon.
