What I've Done

In need of care

We were invited to join Sue Middleton and a group of her friends and family for a canoe on Derwentwater, but after a poor night's sleep for Deb she really didn't feel up to it. We did pop over to wish them all a Happy Christmas - and I got to meet blipper 60plus, before taking a shortish walk down the side of Derwentwater.

These poor hands, known as the Entrust hands, were carved in 2002 to commemorate the centenary of the National Trust - they were positioned in Victoria Bay for many years, but were lifted by flood waters a few years back and are wedged against trees about 50m from their original location.

Christmas is a time of giving, but these hands look like they could do some taking - in the form of care.
