Wee Robbie #4

Mrs CBL and I thank you very much for your kind wishes for Christmas, they are very much appreciated! 

Today we visited Aden Park in Mintlaw it was a cold and frosty morning and the paths were quite skippy and there were a few skites but fortunately no falls!  

The robin in the main image followed us around flying from one tree to another ahead of us for quite some time.  While it posed nicely for me at no point did he give a clear shot of him as there was either a branch or shadow in the frame.

Didn’t get a clear view of a common merganser either such a pity as I haven’t seen one in the pond here before.  But I did manage to get a good view of a moorhen and so it is awarded second place as an extra!

It really was a breath of fresh air walking round the park today and in more ways than one.  Tomorrow Storm Gerrit is coming our way and we are gerriting it big style!   Sixty miles an hour winds and heavy rain  … maybe see you Thursday!?!?
