Morris on Boxing Day

We woke to a blue sky, and  it was forecast to stay dry. Excellent - just right for watching some Morris dancing! So MrM drove us across to the Kings Arms at Heath near Wakefield to watch Wakefield Morris's traditional Boxing Day dance out.

I used to dance with the side (my very first dance out with them was at the same place on Boxing Day 1996), and it was good to meet up with some long-time friends with whom I used to dance, and other friends from the area. The side is still going strong, with lots of fit young members.
