Night Life

Always keep your camera with you when you go to take out the garbage at night. And don't forget to look up. My goodness, it was beautiful! A slight chill, and a bit damp. We're due to get rain tomorrow. Those palm trees serenade us when the wind blows through their dry fronds, but they are due to come down soon. Sadly there is a notice in that front yard that they've applied for a removal permit. One by one, and for various reasons, all the tall trees in the area are being eliminated. People are growing afraid of their trees, worried about storms and damage. For now we get to enjoy these old sentinels for a bit longer, to marvel at their resilient swaying and rustling before the rain.
