Blast Beach

A trip to Seaham on the train today. A wander around town and an explore of the towns beaches. Blast beach was a fascinating place. A huge beach with a couple of stacks that had been polluted by mining until the collieries closed and when that happened they spent 15 years cleaning it up. It still has plenty of industrial scars but is heading in the right direction.
