Second-time-around

A tiny bit of sun

The last several days gave been DISMAL, weather-wise. Lots of wind and rain and grey skies, and NO sun. The heavy rain eventually stopped today, and a bit of distant blue sky appeared. Somewhere else must have had sun, but it missed Charlestown - the sky just showed that there was sun not far away. There’s hardly any sun forecast for next week - just more rain and wind. It’s raining and windy again tonight.

In the foreground of this photo you can see the tide dragging itself back over the stones - I love the sound it makes when it does that.

There were signs of winter holiday makers around Charlestown. Parked outside one of the tiny holiday cottages was the biggest newest tallest Range Rover I’ve ever seen. It looked to me that the size of its interior was bigger than the inside of the holiday let it was parked outside!
