Brief window

...in the weather.  Pretty foul weather for our drive back home today, but not as bad as it was later on.  60 mile an hour winds in the evening - definitely time to batten down the hatches!  I took this photo shortly after we got home, after a big rain shower, and before many more.  I've only just noticed what appears to be a rainbow in this photo - didn't spot it at the time.

We set off from my Mum's a little after midday, and got home around 3pm.  Had a lovely relaxed afternoon/evening thereafter, and finished up the last of the salmon wellington for dinner.  Watched the Big Fat Quiz of the Year and ended up staying up rather late.
