Yellow Mahonia

I can't remember now when I bought this shrub but here it is, flowering beneath the dead honeysuckle twigs along the school fence.

So lovely to see this bright yellow shining through yet another gloomy, rainy day.

I hope Basil will get his walk. It won't be thanks to me.

I must go and prepare a base for a Yule Log now. But first, how to cook black kale.

PS I finally unwrapped my new, second hand xt-5, but I have to charge the battery first. I'm pleased to say that the box contained a 'set of rules.'
