Blue Sky Boxing Day

Is this a scene from the Mediterranean? 
No. It's Maryport harbour, West Cumbria. The Boxing Day forecast did not disappoint, after a very rainy Christmas Day. My sister and I took the dog for a scamper, looked at the bright boats and even found a spot out of the breeze along the harbour wall where the sun had a bit of warmth to it. Not that you would have wanted to linger long!
An couple of hours later all was dark and wet again but by that time we eating turkey sandwiches and watching Lion King DVD and so what did we care?
