Littoral

Still Packing a Punch

I'd planned to go upriver on my walk today, but the path was so flooded I only just made it to the viewing platform.  So I headed towards the harbour. The river was very high, with water sloshing over the wall near the car park, and at one point what looked like a tidal bore swept up the river.  Further along, I caught glimpses of waves crashing over the little lighthouse. This is a view is taken from the outer harbour, looking northeast.
Nothing else of note to report, apart from today was miles better than yesterday.
