Buddy the cat

My friend has an "outdoor" cat named Buddy who begs to be let the house. 
He actually belongs to, and lives with, one of my friend's neighbors, but has to share that house with another cat.
So, Buddy spends all of his time in my friend's yard and she enjoys his company while gardening, but she does not want an indoor cat.
Sadly, Buddy has a complex life!
